Euroseas adds 14th ship
Euroseas Ltd., a Greek ship owner with shares listed on the Nasdaq, said it would expand its fleet to 14 vessels by purchasing a 2,228 TEU containership for $24 million.
The 1990-built ship has a charter through July 2009 at $16,500 per day.
The company now has a fleet of nine containerships, four dry bulk vessels and one multipurpose ship.
