Euroseas takes delivery of two containerships
Euroseas Ltd. said it has taken delivery of two 1,932-TEU containerships built in 1990 in South Korea.
The Jonathan P and the Despina P were each acquired for $18.7 million and have been fixed on short-term charters until October at a rate of about $17,000 per day.
Athens-based Euroseas, whose shares are traded on Nasdaq, has a fleet of eight containerships, four dry bulk vessels, and one multipurpose ship.
