Evergreen adds Yantian, drops Hong Kong from Pacific loop
Evergreen Marine has dropped calls at Hong Kong and replaced them with direct calls at Yantian on it weekly transpacific “HTW” service. Evergreen still serves the port of Hong Kong on other services despite dropping it from its “HTW” loop.
The vessel “Ever Diamond” made the last call at Hong Kong on the “HTW” service Saturday and the first call at Yantian Sunday.
The “HTW” service uses four 4,211-TEU ships and has a revised port rotation of Kaohsiung, Yantian, Los Angeles, Oakland and back to Kaohsiung.
Both Evergreen subsidiaries, Lloyd Triestino and Hatsu Marine take space on the “HTW” service.
