Evergreen announces rate hikes
Evergreen Line said it is raising rates on several routes in order to “provide our customers with the reliable and efficient level of service.”
Effective Dec. 15, rates from the Far East to Middle East will be raised $75 per TEU. From the Far East to Red Sea, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh the increase will be $100 per TEU.
On Jan. 1, rates on cargo moving westbound from the Far East (including Japan) and Indian Subcontinent to Europe and Mediterranean will increase $300 per TEU.
