Evergreen completes rebranding
The familiar Evergreen containers seen moving through ports and rolling along highways and rail lines in Florida will be traveling under the united brand name Evergreen Line effective May 1, the Taiwan-based company said Wednesday.
The Evergreen Group has maintained a quartet of ocean shipping subsidiaries: Evergreen Marine Corp. (Taiwan) Ltd., Hatsu Marine Ltd., Italia Martima SpA, and Evergreen Marine (Hong Kong) Ltd. All four will be rebranded Evergreen Line.
In March, the U.S. agency offices for the company, which operate in South Florida from an office in Miramar, were renamed Evergreen Shipping Agency (America) Corp. The U.S. operation had been known as Evergreen America Corp.
Evergreen is involved in various carrier agreements, and offers service in the East Coast of South America trade from Jacksonville and Port Everglades, with inbound service from Asia and the Caribbean Basin calling Tampa and the Port of Miami, according to American Shipper's ComPair Data schedules.
