Evergreen Group makes executive changes in the Americas
Taiwan-based Evergreen Group on Thursday released details of management changes in the Americas effective as of Monday.
Capt. S.Y. Kuo has been promoted to second vice group chairman of the entire Evergreen Group, based in Taipei. Most recently, Kuo had been vice group chairman overseeing all Evergreen Group business in the Americas.
Marcel Chang succeeds Kuo as vice group chairman of Evergreen Group. He was chairman of Evergreen Shipping Agency (America) Corp., which will now be headed by Thomas Chen, who was president of Evergreen Group Americas. Wesley Brunson will become the new president of EGA, shifting from the company’s Los Angeles office to Americas headquarters in New Jersey. Rosario Amalfitano has been promoted to succeed Brunson as executive vice president of EGA Los Angeles.
