Evergreen orders 12,500 containers
Evergreen has orders 12,500 containers for $37 million from an affiliate in Malaysia.
The containers will be made by Evergreen Heavy Industrial, and used to replace older equipment. This year’s order is smaller than an $82.6 million order placed in 2007.
Prices for the equipment are $2,130 for a 20-foot box, $3,408 for a 40-foot box, and $3,578 for a 40-foot high cube.
