Evergreen to call APM terminal in Virginia
Evergreen Line and APM Terminals Virginia Inc. have signed a terminal service agreement whereby the ocean carrier will move one service presently calling at Virginia Intermodal Terminals Inc.’s Portsmouth Marine Terminal, to APMT’s new Portsmouth facility.
The contract was signed on June 4 and the move will take place in mid-July.
The service being relocated is Evergreen Line’s weekly “NUE” pendulum service between North Asia, the U.S. East Coast and Europe.
Other Evergreen services will remain at V.I.T. terminals in Hampton Roads.
