EVERGREEN TO ESTABLISH AGENCY IN FRANCE
Evergreen Marine Corp. said Wednesday it will establish its own agency company in France.
The new company, Evergreen France SA, will take the sales and marketing activity for Evergreen container services from G Feron-E de Clebsattel, effective today.
G Feron-E de Clebsattel was appointed in 1978 as agent for Evergreen's first Far East/North Europe service, which started in May 1979. The service was replaced by Evergreen's round-the-world service in 1984.
Evergreen also operates its own agency companies in German and the United Kingdom, and works with established liner agency companies elsewhere in Europe.
