EvergreenÆs SE Asia feeder calls Thailand
Evergreen Line said Wednesday it has started a Southeast Asia feeder linking Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
The TMI service has a rotation of Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Port Klang, Tanjung Pelepas, Jakarta, Tanjung Pelepas and Bangkok, and is operated with two vessels (one 900 TEUs and the other 820 TEUs).
Evergreen said the new service replaces and expands upon its previous IS1 service that connected Malaysia and Indonesia but didn't include Thailand calls.
'The inauguration of the TMI service is in line with the increased demand to serve the domestic consuming markets of Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia and focus on their growing exports of natural resources,' the line said.
