Ex-Im Bank fills senior posts

Ex-Im Bank fills senior posts    The U.S. Export-Import Bank said it has appointed four executives to senior posts.
   Alice Albright was named executive vice president and chief operating officer. Before her appointment, she worked 24 years in international finance. From 2001 to 2009, Albright served as chief financial and investment officer for the GAVI Alliance, an international private-public partnership aimed at improving childhood immunization rates in the poorest countries. She has also held positions at Carlyle Group, JP Morgan, Bankers Trust Co., and Citicorp.
   Ex-Im Bank named Kevin Varney to senior vice president and chief of staff. He was president of CMG, a public affairs company. He also worked in investment banking and served in the White House as deputy chief of staff of President Clinton's National Economic Council.
   Tom Lopach was named senior vice president of congressional affairs for Ex-Im Bank. He worked 10 years in congressional relations and national-level fundraising, and recently served as national finance director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
   Jonathan Cordone has been named senior vice president and general counsel. He was general counsel to the House Energy and Commerce Committee. He served on the House committee as minority deputy general counsel and minority counsel for commerce, trade and consumer protection.
