Executive Moves: C.H. Robinson, Lineage Logistics and Port of Houston

C.H. Robinson appoints Asia VPs, while Lineage Logistics picks transportation VP and the Port of Houston reappoints commissioner.    C.H. Robinson has appointed Jack Chang and John Chen vice presidents of Asia global forwarding. Before this appointment, Chang held several positions in C.H. Robinson, including director of operations of Asia and general manager of Taiwan. Chen joined C.H. Robinson as part of the acquisition of Phoenix International in 2012, and was named C.H. Robinson’s general manager in Hong Kong in 2013.

   Lineage Logistics, a temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics company owned by Bay Grove Capital, has hired Greg Bryan as senior vice president of transportation solutions. Bryan previously served as senior vice president of operations for C&S Wholesale Grocers. He also was executive vice president of transportation for Americold Logistics and before that managed global transportation for Ryder Integrated Solutions.

   Theldon R. Branch III was reappointed to the port commission of the Port of Houston Authority. Port commissioners serve two-year terms without pay. Branch is the chairman and CEO of The Branch Cos., a privately held Houston-based holding company that oversees investments in real estate, financial assets, the automotive industry, and construction. He was originally appointed to the port commission in September 2013.
