Executive Moves: CEVA, NRF and Tatham Macinnes

CEVA Logistics appointed EVP of global automotive sector, the National Retail Federation added two members to its government relations team, while Tatham Macinnes LLP hired a new partner.    CEVA Logistics appointed Antonio Fondevilla as executive vice president of the company’s global automotive sector, which accounted for 24 percent of CEVA’s annual revenue in 2014.
   A 20-year supply chain management and automotive logistics veteran, Fondevilla joined CEVA in 2008 and most recently served as vice president of global key account management and interim leader of the company’s European automotive sector.  He began his career with a major global automotive manufacturer and has a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the IESE Business School of Barcelona.

   The National Retail Federation added two former Capitol Hill staffers, Marisa Harrilchak and Lizzy Simmons, to its government relations team.
   Simmons was hired as NRF’s senior director of government relations and will assume responsibility for the association’s workforce policy agenda, including labor, immigration and workforce development. She worked previously with the office of Senator Tim Scott, R-S.C., and is currently finishing her master’s degree in legislative affairs at George Washington University.
   Harrilchak joins NRF as a government relations manager, and will work on many of the retail industry’s top legislative and regulatory priorities, including payments, patent reform, supply chain and international trade issues. A former floor staffer with Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., during her tenure as Speaker of the House, Harrilchak recently received her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law. 

   London-based maritime law firm Tatham Macinnes LLP has hired Stephen Askins, an expert on piracy and terrorism issues, as a partner.
   Askins is a former Royal Marine and an expert on casualty response and piracy, maritime terrorism and the use of armed guards at sea, having managed many recent piracy and hostage incidents. He will leave his current position at Ince & Co LLP to join Tatham Macinnes.
