Executive Moves: GPA and East Coast Warehouse & Distribution

The Georgia Ports Authority appoints senior director of trade development for ocean carrier and non-container sales, and East Coast Warehouse & Distribution names senior director of warehouse operations.    The Georgia Ports Authority has appointed Bruce Kuzma senior director of trade development for ocean carrier and non-container sales. Kuzma was most recently director of chemicals marketing for CSX Transportation. He has held a variety of commercial positions in the rail industry over the last 25 years, starting at Burlington North Railroad in 1992.

   East Coast Warehouse & Distribution, a temperature-controlled logistics provider located at the Port of New York & New Jersey and in Philadelphia, named Rafael Varela senior director of warehouse operations. Varela, who is a former U.S. Army Captain, has held senior leadership positions with Amazon, Cardinal Health and Cintas.
