Executive Moves: IAG Cargo, INTTRA and ATA

IAG Cargo appoints chief financial officer, while INTTRA hires president of Asia Pacific, and American Trucking Associations elects general chairman and treasurer of its Technology & Maintenance Council.

IAG Cargo appoints chief financial officer, while INTTRA hires president of Asia Pacific, and American Trucking Associations elects general chairman and treasurer of its Technology & Maintenance Council.

   IAG Cargo has appointed Lewis Girdwood as chief financial officer, effective March 1, 2017. Girdwood joins the airfreight carrier from EasyJet, where he served as head of financial planning and analysis.

   Online ocean shipping marketplace INTTRA has hired Vijay Minocha as president of its Asia Pacific division. Based in Singapore, Minocha will report directly to INTTRA CEO John Fay.
   He joins the company from ocean carrier United Arab Shipping Co. (UASC), where he most recently served as global head of customer service, e-commerce and agency management, as well as chairman of the board of the United Arab Shipping Agency Co. – Egypt.

   The American Trucking Associations (ATA) has named Glen McDonald general chairman and treasurer of its Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) for 2017-2018. McDonald, who is director of maintenance at Ozark Motor Lines, Inc., replaces Doug White, vice president of maintenance of Dunbar Armored, in the role.
   Others serving as TMC officers for 2017-2018 include:
     • Vice Chairman and Chairman of Meetings Jeff Harris, Swift Transportation;
     • Chairman of Study Groups Kenneth Calhoun, Truck Centers of Arkansas;
     • Chairman of Membership and Publicity Peggy Fisher, TireStamp, Inc.;
     • Chairman of Associates Dave Walters Alcoa Wheels by Arconic, Inc.;
     • And Doug White, Dunbar Armored, Inc. and Executive Director Carl Kirk.
