Executive Moves: NFI, Swissport International and InstaFreight

NFI names senior vice president of global logistics; Swissport International appoints VP head of group communications; and InstaFreight names managing director.    NFI, a supply chain solutions provider headquartered in Cherry Hill, N.J., has selected Mike Greco to serve as senior vice president of global logistics. Greco has over 20 years of experience in the supply chain industry. Prior to joining NFI, Greco most recently served as managing director for Geodis USA for over four years.

   Swissport International, a Switzerland-based provider of ground and cargo handling services to the aviation industry, has appointed Christoph Meier to serve as VP head of group communications, which took effect on Friday. Meier joins Swissport from Lufthansa Group, where he served as head of communication strategy and planning. Prior to that, he served as Lufthansa’s head of media relations for Southeast Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and later took on the responsibility for group media relations at the Lufthansa head office. Before joining Lufthansa, he held various corporate communications management roles at Swiss International Air Lines.

   InstaFreight, a Berlin-based digital forwarding company, has selected Maximilian Schaefer to serve as managing director to drive the operational side of the startup. Schaefer worked as a member of the senior management team at the logistics services provider TNT. In addition, he set up the logistics for La Moda, an e-commerce company in Russia.
