Executive Moves: Port of Seattle and GE Transportation

The Port of Seattle names managing director, maritime division; and GE appoints new chief executive officer of GE Transportation.

The Port of Seattle names managing director, maritime division; and GE appoints new chief executive officer of GE Transportation.

   The Port of Seattle has named Stephanie Jones Stebbins managing director, maritime division. Jones Stebbins has held serval roles at the port, including director of environmental and planning programs for six years, director of seaport environmental for four years, and manager of seaport strategic and facility planning for five years.

   GE has appointed Rafael Santana, president and chief executive officer of GE Latin America, as president and CEO of GE Transportation, effective Nov. 1. GE Transportation is a supplier to the rail, mining, marine, stationary power and drilling industries. Santana, who has over 17 years of GE experience, held leadership positions in GE Oil & Gas, Power and Transportation before becoming president and CEO of GE Latin America. He is succeeding Jamie Miller, who will become chief financial officer of GE.
