Executive Moves: Port of Virginia, C.H. Robinson, Jettainer and MetroGistics

Port of Virginia names director of ocean sales; C.H. Robinson hires finance director, Europe; Jettainer appoints director of operations; and MetroGistics hires vice president of business development.    The Port of Virginia named Brian Kobza director of ocean carrier sales, effective Sept. 5. Kobza most recently served as senior international account manager with CSX Transportation. He has also worked with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Maersk Equipment Service Co., and APM Terminals in Elizabeth, N.J.

   C.H. Robinson, an Eden Prairie, Minn.-based third-party logistics provider, has hired Lucas Faase as finance director, Europe, who is joining the company from FrieslandCampina, where we was global director corporate controlling. Faase brings 22 years of experience to his new role, with a background in international markets in branded FMCG, business-to-business, food service and supply chain industries.
   Faase is succeeding Wim Feys, who became finance director, Europe, in 2007. Feys has now taken on the role as regional director, Iberia.

   Jettainer GmbH, a German third-party unit-load device management firm and subsidiary of Lufthansa Cargo, has appointed Frank Mühlenkamp as director of operations. Mühlenkamp began his career at the ground operations department in Frankfurt at the Lufthansa hub. After spending two years at Augsburg Airways, Mühlenkamp returned to the Lufthansa Group. He has held various positions in the ground and flight operations departments, working in Germany, Europe and the United States.

   MetroGistics, a St. Louis, Mo.-based automotive logistics services provider, has hired Susan Moritz as vice president of business development. Moritz has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, holding positions at COX Automotive, Finance Express, KAR Auction Services and ADESA.
