Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb appoints members to Ports of Indiana Commission, and VARGO hires a quality assurance and support professional.

   Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb appointed Monica Newhouse-Rodriguez and Michael Browning to the Ports of Indiana Commission.
   Newhouse-Rodriguez is managing principal of Newhouse and Associates, a national airport consulting firm that offers airport planning, capital management and development services. Currently, Newhouse-Rodriguez manages transportation and planning issues for the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and Miami International Airport, along with previously working with the Sacramento County Airport System, the Houston Airport System, Chicago’s O’Hare  International Airport, and the San Diego International Airport. In addition, she is currently on the board of directors of World Business Partners and Associates for Airports Council International-North America.
   Browning has been chairman of the board for Indianapolis-based real estate development company Browning Investments since 2013, and served as the company’s president and chief executive officer from 1981 to 2013. In addition, he serves as a board member and lead director of Duke Energy Corp. and the Indianapolis Indians.

   Hillard, Ohio-based VARGO, a material-handling systems developer, has hired Mike Peters to serve as a quality assurance and support professional.
