Executive Moves: SCCC, XPO Logistics and ICS

South Carolina Council on Competitiveness hires logistics industry director, while XPO Logistics appoints HR chief and ICS elects new chairman.    The South Carolina Council on Competitiveness has named Suzanne Dickerson director of logistics industry initiatives. The SCCC is a business-led, non-profit organization whose mission is to advance the long-term economic competitiveness of South Carolina. Dickerson has spent the past eight years as director of international business development at Clemson University’s International Center for Automotive Research. Before that she worked at BMW.

   XPO Logistics has appointed Meghan Henson to the position of chief human resources officer. She most recently served in the same capacity for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.

   The International Chamber of Shipping elected Esben Poulsson as its new chairman. He succeeded Masamichi Morooka in this role. ICS is an international trade association representing shipowners.
