Trinity Logistics names president and chief operating officer, while Gebrüder Weiss appoints branch manager of Gebrüder Weiss Salzburg.

Trinity Logistics, a Seaford, Del.-based third-party logistics provider, has transitioned Billy Banning from the role of senior vice president of the company’s agent division to president, with direct responsibility of all of Trinity’s profit centers, business development, and continued oversight of the agent division.
Trinity has also appointed Sarah Ruffcorn, senior vice president of strategic development, to the role of chief operating officer, with oversight of the company’s five regional service centers and its design solutions team.

Austrian transport and logistics company Gebrüder Weiss has named Michael Thomsen branch manager of Gebrüder Weiss Salzburg, succeeding Peter Schafleitner, who will now focus on his role as director of the company’s central region. Thomsen began his career with Gebrüder Weiss in 2006. Starting in 2013, as assistant to the manager of the central region, he was responsible for controlling and optimization processes, and further developed the Salzburg location.
