Executive Moves: Ward Transport and Greenbrier Cos.

Ward Transport and Logistics hires new chief operating officer, while the Greenbrier Cos. appoints executive vice president and chief financial officer.    Regional less-than-truckload carrier and logistics solutions provider Ward Transport and Logistics Corp. has hired Mike Moss as chief operating officer.
   A 30-year transportation industry veteran, Moss joins the company from ABF Freight, where he served as senior vice president of operations.

   The Greenbrier Cos., Inc. has promoted current Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Lorie Tekorius to the role of executive vice president and CFO. In addition to continuing her CFO duties, Tekorius will now chair a management committee comprised of key unit heads, with oversight of management policies in capital allocation, operations and technology, strategy, human resources, administration and risk management, as well as other functions.
   In addition, Greenbrier has promoted Justin Roberts to the role of vice president of corporate finance and treasurer, reporting to Tekorius. Roberts was most recently the assistant vice president of corporate finance and assistant treasurer.
