Executive Moves: WB Skinner Customs Brokerage and American Trucking Associations

WB Skinner Customs Brokerage names logistics director, while the American Trucking Associations appoints new VP of legislative affairs.

   WB Skinner Customs Brokerage has appointed Charles Skinner director of logistics and trade lane management. He joins the Lodi, N.J.-based firm from Tigers (USA) Global Logistics in Atlanta, where he served as regional manager for the Southeast. He has also held management positions at Panalpina, Phoenix International Freight Services, Kamden International Shipping, Archer Freight Systems, and L. Braverman & Co. WB Skinner has also announced that it will open a sales and operations office in Atlanta.

   Mike Joyce has joined the American Trucking Associations as senior vice president of legislative affairs. He previously held a similar position with truck manufacturer Paccar. Before that he worked for the Owner-Operators Independent Drivers Association, and on Capitol Hill for several lawmakers, including Rep. Bill Shuster, R-Pa., current chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
