Exel inks 3-year logistics contact with Life Fitness (U.K.)
Exel has signed a three-year logistics management contract with Life Fitness (U.K.) Ltd.
Exel will manage the receipt, storage, customer delivery and setup of Life Fitness products from its 35,000-square-foot warehouse at Rugby, Warwickshire, U.K.
Chris O’Connor, general manager for Life Fitness, said the company chose Exel for its ability to efficiently handle irregular shipments of both heavy and fragile products. “The provision of a contract management team and the ability of Exel to offer further supply chain services were all factors we considered,” he said.
