Exel makes management changes

   Exel, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL, announced nearly a dozen management promotions in the Americas.

   The company promoted Patrick Kelleher to senior vice president of sales and business development in the Americas. He was head of business development of Exel's retail business unit.

   Fred Takavitz was named senior vice president of business development for retail in the Americas. He led the customer and business development team within the Exel's Technology, Aerospace and Service Logistics business.

   Gary Allen was appointed vice president of information technology for the Americas, which will also cover Exel's IT activities in Latin America.

   Other appointments include:

   ' Ed Joyce, vice president of finance for consumer and life sciences, Americas.

   ' Adrian Kumar, vice president of integrated logistics design and solutions, Americas.

   ' Sally Miller, vice president of information technology, Americas.

   ' Cary Mosher, vice president of operations for consumer and life sciences, Americas.

   ' Dave Moss, vice president of finance for consumer and life sciences and Latin America, Americas.

   ' Pablo Pinson, head of risk management and insurances, Latin America and the Caribbean.

   ' Paul Betscha, senior director for security operations, Americas.

   ' Denise Klapper, senior director of marketing, Americas.
