Exel makes senior appointments

   Exel, a North American supply chain management subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL, has appointed Scott Cubbler to president of life sciences and healthcare for the Americas.
   Cubbler joined Exel in 2001 as director of operations and became a senior director in 2003. Since 2006, he has served as vice president of life sciences and healthcare.
   Franklin Littleton was named senior vice president of managed transportation and consumer for the life sciences and healthcare division. He came to Exel in 1993 with experience in global and domestic transportation and customs clearance, and has since held a number of management roles in the company’s transportation and industry-based business units.
   Exel appointed Troy Mascarenhas to president of supply chain management, which provides dedicated logistics support in Canada to one of the world’s biggest retailers, the company said. He joined Exel in 2007 as director of finance.
   Randy Rogers was also named president of energy and chemicals for the Americas. For the past three years, Rogers led the DHL Supply Chain organization, Exel’s sister company, in southern Europe where he is credited for leading a major operational standardization change program. He has also held senior business roles in DHL Supply Chain in China and Latin America.
