EXEL STILL EXPECTS TO MEET EARNINGS FORECASTS

Exel Plc, the London-based logistics group, reiterated Tuesday that it expects to meet full-year earnings estimates despite weak auto freight management volumes and continued slowness in demand for technology products, a Reuters report said.

According to Multex Global Estimates, Exel is on track to report profits in 2001 of approximately $245.5 million.
