F.S. MACKENZIE ADDS TWICE-WEEKLY SAILINGS TO SINGAPORE, HONG KONG    F.S. Mackenzie, the U.K.-based non-vessel-operating common carrier has introduced twice-weekly scheduled sea-freight consolidation services from the United Kingdom to Singapore and Hong Kong.
   The fixed-day services sail from Southampton on Wednesdays and Saturdays offering 17-day transit times for Singapore and 21 days for Hong Kong.
   Liner terms bills of ladings are used and onward delivery throughout Southeast Asia is available.
   'Singapore and Hong Kong have always been strong markets for the U.K., and with our partners FPS Global Logistics, we have had on-going bilateral initiatives to boost our share of the trade,' said Iain Brymer, F.S. Mackenzie's sales and development manager.
   Cargoes destined for Singapore and Hong Kong are consolidated at one of F.S. Mackenzie's regional consolidation centers, but can be accepted for shipment at any of the company's eight receiving depots in the United Kingdom, located in Basildon, Birmingham, Bradford, Bristol, Glasgow, Heathrow, Manchester and Newcastle.
