F.S. MACKENZIE GAINS IATA ACCREDITATION
F.S. Mackenzie, the U.K. air-freight services provider, has been awarded a cargo agent’s license by the International Air Transport Association.
“This will give us credibility and enhance our standing within the air-freight sector,” said Mark Billany, F.S. Mackenzie air-freight manager. “We see this as an important step in the continued growth of our airfreight business.”
Last September, F.S. Mackenzie formed a strategic alliance with Allstates Worldcargo, in which it took over the U.S. forwarder's U.K. subsidiary. Shortly thereafter, Billany was appointed air-freight manager and FSM opened a 10,000-square-foot warehouse at Heathrow.
