The Europe-Great Lakes specialist liner carrier Federal Atlantic Lakes Lines (Falline) is shifting to its winter schedule when the St Lawrence Seaway closes beyond Montreal from Dec 29.
The closure usually last around three months while the jointly managed U.S./Canada river and lakes inland waterway system is prone to ice, and while routine maintenance is undertaken. During this period Falline vessels operate a twice-monthly service from Antwerp which terminates in Montreal. – Compair Data, Edward Howard
