Famous Pacific Shipping selects Austromar as Central Europe agent
Hong Kong-based forwarding and non-vessel-operating common carrier group Famous Pacific Shipping, has named Austromar Spol as its general agent for Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
Vienna, Austria-headquartered Austromar has branch offices in Prague and Budapest.
“The Czech Republic and Hungary are now among the most stable and prosperous of the post-Communist states. Economic growth in all three countries has been stimulated by each country’s recent accession to EU membership, with export and import levels increasing significantly,” said Alvin Tan, chairman of the FPS Group.
