FCBF offers customs broker test prep courses

FCBF offers customs broker test prep courses A preparatory course for the next customs house broker exam is being offered in conjunction with the Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association Aug. 9-Sept. 27.
   The course runs 6-9 p.m., Mondays and Thursdays at the Miami Free Zone, the same complex where the FCBF office is located. The course is intended to help aspiring customs brokers prepare for the licensing exam. Subjects covered include Customs commodity classification training, reviews of Customs-related federal regulations, and other topics related to the responsibilities of brokers.
   The course is being taught by Mike Sayers, a licensed customs broker who is also a training specialist. Cost is $575 for FCBF members and $690 for non-members.
