FCBF sets another forklift training class
The Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association has scheduled new forklift training seminars for Aug. 23.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration requires all forklift drivers be certified, and the course will provide operators official certifications. Drivers that operate forklifts without certification are subject to fines.
There will be a certification class in English from 9 a.m.-12 p.m, and a Spanish version at 1-4 p.m. The classes will be at the Miami Free Zone, conference room 1M10, 2305 107th Ave., Doral.
Companies can register drivers online at www.fcbf.com. Cost is $65 for drivers from FCBF-member companies and $85 for non-members.
