FDA finalizes prior notice food import guidelines

FDA finalizes prior notice food import guidelines    The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has made available its finalized compliance policy guide for prior notice of food imports into the United States.
   In addition, the guide, 'Sec. 110.310 Prior Notice of Imported Food Under the Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002,' provides written guidance to FDA and Customs and Border Protection staff on enforcement of the act.
