FEC unit names development execs

FEC unit names development execs Flagler/Codina Development, the commercial real estate unit of Florida East Coast Industries, said Thursday it had named Karl Hanson vice president and market officer for North Florida and hired Josh Edwards as director of development.
   Hanson is responsible for development, leasing, and realty acquisitions in North Florida, and for pursuing new business opportunities related to development of Flagler property assets. Hanson had been the company's general counsel, leading the FECI legal team.
   Edwards will be part of Hanson's business development team, the company said. Edwards recently received an MBA from Emory University. His previous experience includes work with Evergreen Construction in Atlanta, where he was project manager. He is a native of Jacksonville.
   FECI is the corporate parent of the Florida East Coast Railroad.
