FedEx expands in Atlantic

FedEx said Monday it is adding more transatlantic flights to expand capacity to Europe, according to wire services.

The integrator will add the transatlantic flights in March, raising their frequency to 28 a week from 23 a week. FedEx said the flights will be from its main hub in Memphis to Cologne, Germany.

Germany is the home market of Deutsche Post, the parent company of FedEx’s rival DHL.
