FedEx expands international offering

International First is now available to nearly 100 countries.    FedEx Express has added 31 countries to its International First product, which is used for time-critical goods that can be delivered as quickly as the next morning after shipment.
   Customers can now use the service when shipping to 97 countries. According to FedEx officials, shippers send medical devices, business documents, high-tech equipment and gear for the entertainment industry via the offering.
   “This latest International First expansion highlights the FedEx commitment to serve our customers who need to ship critical, time-sensitive material.  The expansion also aligns with our global growth strategy, and the need to stay ahead of customer demand,” according to Raj Subramaniam, FedEx Services’ executive vice president, global strategy, communications and marketing.
