FedEx Express expands in China
FedEx Express said that it has expanded the number of Chinese cities in which it offers next-day deliveries from 19 to more than 30.
In addition, the company said it now offers 48-hour delivery in more than 200 locations.
The subsidiary of Memphis-based FedEx Corp. began offering next-business-day service May 28.
“We have seen healthy and encouraging demand from our existing international customers and potential new customers,' said David L. Cunningham Jr., president of the Asia Pacific. 'Since we began operations less than a month ago, thousands of domestic express packages have already passed through our hub in Hangzhou.”
