FedEx Ground rates to increase 4.9 percent
FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery will raise rates an average of 4.9 percent beginning Jan. 1, the parent company said Monday. The delivery rate increase mirrors those at UPS and DHL for domestic ground shipments.
FedEx previously announced a net 3.5 percent rate increase for its Express division after factoring in a 2 percent reduction in the fuel surcharge.
FedEx Ground is also moving to a dimensional weight pricing system, as previously announced.
