The new application, “Estimate Duties and Taxes” application is available on the carrier’s FedEx Global Trade Manager, at https://www.fedex.com/us/international. The application will offer shippers instant daily access to the information needed in making international shipping decisions. The cost for the service is $5 per transaction, regardless of the number of commodities in a single shipment.
Features on the application include information on duty, excise, value-added tax (VAT), and integrated Harmonized System Code identification, as well as Most Favored Nation rates and other fees that may be levied on international shipments to and from over 40 countries.
