FEDEX SETS EUROPE/MIDEAST FUEL SURCHARGE
Federal Express Corp. said Wednesday it will introduce a 2-percent fuel surcharge for shipments in Europe and the Mideast, effective Jan. 1.
In Europe, the surcharge applies in Austria, Belgium, Britain, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Spain and Switzerland.
The Mideast changes affect Bahrain, Israel, Kuwait, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
