FEDEX TO EXPAND IN TAIWAN
FedEx Corp. said it will expand its transshipment hub in Taiwan from 11,000 square feet to 75,000 square feet in the next 12 months, Asian news sources said.
FedEx operates a sorting center at Chiang Kai-Shek International Airport near Taipei. The company saw 28 percent growth in its Asian business during the fourth quarter, reports said.
FedEx operates some 68 flights a week to and from the Taiwan facility.
