FERNANDEZ NAMED TIACA SECRETARY GENERAL
Daniel Fernandez will take over as secretary general of The
International Air Cargo Association, effective Nov. 1.
Fernandez’ appointment was announced at the Air Cargo Americas
conference in Miami, an event he organized in 1993 and 1995 for the World Trade Center
Miami. He has been vice president of operations for the trade center since 1996.
He has also served as regional executive of the Hong Kong Trade
Development Council for more than seven years.
He replaces Garth H. Davies, TIACA’s founding secretary general, who died in
April.
