Ferry, law firm sponsor charity cruise

Ferry, law firm sponsor charity cruise    New York Water Taxi will host a charity cruise around New York harbor April 12 to raise funds to benefit cancer survivors.
   The Coast to Coast Champagne Cruise will celebrate the successful cross-country run by Christian McEvoy last year. It will depart from South Street Seaport at 6:30 p.m., with boarding beginning at 6 p.m. The event is also sponsored by Blank Rome LLP.
   McEvoy, 24, (son of maritime attorney Jane Barrett) ran 3,400 miles across the United States last year to raise funds and generate awareness for the more than 10 million American cancer survivors. He will regale passengers with stories of his run. There will also be an auction emceed by Tom Fox, president of New York Water Taxi, featuring items such as a signed Tiger Woods photograph.
