FESCO starts Korea/Sakhalin Island shuttle service
Far Eastern Shipping Co. is starting a shuttle service connecting the Korean port of Busan with the port of Kholmsk, located on Sakhalin Island in the Russian Far East.
The new “FESCO Korea Sakhalin Line” service will commence Feb. 6 with the multipurpose 252-TEU “Pioner Slavyanki” sailing every 10 days.
The “FKSL” service will serve bilateral and transshipment cargo to and from European, U.S. West Coast and Asian ports, FESCO said in a statement.
