FIATA, EUROPEAN FORWARDERS TO COOPERATE
The International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations and the
European Liaison Committee of Freight Forwarders have signed a memorandum of understanding
on cooperation.
The memorandum incorporates Brussels-based European Liaison Committee of
Freight Forwarders, also known as CLECAT, into FIATA, the worldwide forwarders’
representative body headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.
CLECAT will be allowed to retain its position as the representative body of
freight forwarders in the European Union.
