Firm will build factory in Port of Tanjung Pelepas
Cameron International Malaysia Systems has signed a land lease agreement with Port of Tanjung Pelepas to set up a new manufacturing plant in the port’s free zone to make sub-sea systems used in producing oil and gas wells.
A fast track project, construction on the 20-acre facility in has already started and the factory is expected to begin operating by July 2007. The plant is expected to produce up to 20,000 tons of project cargo per annum.
