FIRST CONTAINERSHIP CALLS AT NEW HANJIN TERMINAL IN LONG BEACH

   The “Hanjin Oslo” will be the first containership to call at the new Pier T container terminal of Hanjin Shipping in the port of Long Beach.

   The 5,500-TEU “Hanjin Oslo” is scheduled to call at the terminal on Thursday (Sept. 12).

   Hanjin opened the 288-acre container terminal, developed on the site of the former naval base, on Aug. 31.

   The $576-million Pier T is under lease to Hanjin for 25 years.
