Florida ag commissioner touring Tampa ethanol facilities

Florida Department Agriculture and Consumer Services Commissioner Charles H. Bronson will be focusing on the ethanol industry Wednesday, touring the ethanol blending plant at the Kinder Morgan Terminal at the Port of Tampa.

Bronson, who along with other state officials have been pushing for expanded ethanol industry operations and agricultural production, will get a briefing on operations and tour the facility.

Then, to put some additional focus on ethanol, he will be making a public visit to a nearby Wal-Mart, where Murphy Oil is selling E10, a fuel mixture that is 10 percent ethanol and 90 percent gasoline.
