Florida ports recognized for communications
The American Association of Port Authorities has honored five Florida ports for efforts in communications and public relations.
Port Canaveral won five awards from the AAPA, while Port Manatee, Port Everglades, the Port of Miami and the port of Jacksonville were also honored.
Port Manatee received an award of excellence for its periodical Manatee Deepwater, and an award of merit for its public tram tours.
Port Everglades won an award of excellence in promotional literature with Protecting the Balance, and an award of merit in miscellaneous promotions for its cruise guide tour program.
The Port of Miami won an award of merit for its printed port cruise guide.
The Port of Jacksonville got an honorable mention for its annual report.
